Congratulations to our 2019 Integrated Marketing Competition (IMC) Team, which placed 2nd at the District Competition a few weeks ago. We are so proud of the team and all they accomplished this year.
In an effort to replenish funds and fundraise for future IMC Teams, we are asking for your support! The 2019 District Competition took place at San Jose State University, which cost about $4,000 in gas, hotels, and other travel related expenses. We want to replenish the funds that were used this year, ensuring the program continues to thrive.
The National Student Advertising Competition is the premier college advertising competition that provides more than 2,000 college students the real-world experience of creating a strategic advertising/marketing/media campaign for a corporate client. The event was created by the American Advertising Federation.
The University of Nevada, Reno team, made up of Reynolds School of Journalism and College of Business students, competes yearly in the event. The team has won one a national title and eight district wins.
This year’s client is Wienerschnitzel. Students presented their campaign ideas for this national company during the district competition at San Jose State University on March 30, 2019. Wienershcnitzel tasked teams to change consumer perception about a product everyone is familiar with - the hot dog.
