Thank you for your interest in supporting Nevada Football. This campaign is no longer active, if you'd like to support Nevada Football, please contact Drake Sacenti at dsacenti@unr.edu.
After back-to-back bowl appearances, Head Coach Jay Norvell has established a strong base of success for Nevada Football. As we look to take the next step towards a Mountain West Championship, we invite you to participate in an important effort that can help fuel our continued success.
Thanks to generous gifts from Keith ’65 and Gloria Lee and the Football Alumni Association, we are launching an effort to raise $50,000 from Nevada Football Alumni for the Eat to Win Program.
A $10,000 gift from Keith and Gloria Lee will be matched 2:1. For every $2 donated to the campaign, $1 will be unlocked from their matching gift.
A $10,000 gift from the Football Alumni Association will be used as a participation challenge, with $1,000 being unlocked for every 15 football alumni that make a gift to the effort.
The goal of the Eat to Win Program is to provide nutrition education and quality calories to help our student-athletes reach peak performance in training, competition and in the classroom. This program helps pay for additional protein, fruits and vegetables, hardboiled eggs, jerky, PB&J, etc. Currently, we are providing limited education through a partnership with the University of Nevada School of Medicine and post-workout smoothies to our student-athletes.
The mission of our football program is for our student-athletes to compete at the highest level both on the field and in the classroom. The overall physical health of our players is a big part of their ability to get the most out of their bodies. This nutrition program, Eat to Win, provides our student-athletes with a proper nutrition program that will allow us to compete for championships both on and off the field.
We need your support to help fund our nutrition program. As a member of the “Eat to Win” program, you will be directly effecting the frequency in which we feed our team and the quality of snacks and meals that we are able to provide for them.
Thank you for all that you do to support our program and we look forward to seeing you in Mackay in the Fall!
The challenge will conclude at the annual Football Alumni Association Poker event on April 24th, the night before the Wolf Pack Spring Game.
